Changes the default value of the Time-To-Live setting, applied to all new chats.

### Parameters:

| Name     |    Type       | Description | Required |
|----------|---------------|-------------|----------|
|period|[int](/API_docs/types/int.html) | The new default Time-To-Live of all messages sent in new chats. | Optional|
