Added argument overloading (#8)
* Added argument overloading

If a double is requested but a long is available, we can cast the
long into a double. This is required if the user gives an integer
into a double field.

As well as this, if a string is requested but a long or double is
available, we can cast both of these into a string.

* Check if zval is present before setting in arg

* Added optional argument example

* Updated documentation for ZendLong

* WIP: added null checks

php-rs

Bindings for the Zend API to build PHP extensions natively in Rust. Inspired by killertux/solder and its predecessors.

Very much a work-in-progress. The library will likely have to change name before being published on crates.io, as php-rs is already taken.

Usage

This project only works for PHP >= 8.0 (for now). Due to the fact that the PHP extension system relies heavily on C macros (which cannot be exported to Rust easily), structs have to be hard coded in.

See the example project. There is inline documentation. Starting by creating a C extension is a good start as well.

Contributions

Contributions are very much welcome. I am a novice Rust developer and any suggestions are wanted and welcome. Feel free to file issues and PRs through Github.
