# UnusedVariable

Emitted when `--find-dead-code` is turned on and Psalm cannot find any references to a variable, once instantiated
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
Can be suppressed by prefixing the variable name with an underscore:
|
|
|
|

$_a = 22;
|
|
